Installed on a 2007 Audi A4 (B7) with Bose rear amps with subwoofer. Overall I am amazed at how feature rich this head unit is and how much better looking it is than a standard aftermarket 2 din radio. This fit is MUCH better and looks MUCH better than any standard two din setup I've seen. All this at a lower price than other radios and it comes with everything! * (except line level to RCA converters if you have a factory amp) Likes: 1) Perfect match. Includes a factory tool to remove the radio, the same tool is used to install/remove this radio. 2) Includes a can-bus receiver so this radio will receive steering wheel controls, rear view camera, etc! 3) Includes an antenna adapter, although you may want to get a self-powered adapter if you are having reception problems. 4) The startup/shutdown is insanely fast, around 3 seconds. Basically it's like a sleep state, which is great because if you use Google Maps, pull up at a gas station and turn off the car, the radio picks up where you left off. However, it takes about 20 seconds to boot up for the first time or when the battery is disconnected from the vehicle. 5) LED indicator color and button styles are same as factory dashboard. Everyone else who sees it always assumes it's a factory radio. They turn on automatically when the dash turn signals are turned on by a CAN bus signal. 6) In fact, it's like a tablet for a car. I can install any android app like Pandora, SiriusXM etc. 7) Equalizer, fader and other sound adjustments work very well. *(after installing the RCA converter) 8) I bought a cheap ODBII Bluetooth sensor adapter and the Torque app works pretty well reading engine check codes, real time data like boost/rpm/speed and readiness for emissions. Resolution is slow, but still a great feature. 9) When listening to Radio or Pandora, Google Maps GPS Voiceover works. The mini GPS map shows an "always on top" overlay when using mobile-style directions. Dislikes: 1) There is an Android limitation (unrelated to this particular radio) that prevents you from connecting to other Android devices to stream audio as if you were using a bluetooth speaker . Instead, you need to enable a Wi-Fi hotspot on your phones for this radio to access the internet to play Pandora/SiriusXM/Google maps. Finally, it's still better just remember to turn on the hotspot on my phone if I want to use these apps in the car. 2) The included antenna adapter works well but isn't powered so it's a bit blurry in weaker areas of the radio signal. If you live in a rural area you can buy an active one from Scosche. 3) I had to fit a line level adapter into the wiring harness to increase the rear RCA voltage since the factory Audi amp requires a higher voltage than standard aftermarket radios. IMPORTANT. . Available in three factory radio options, this Audi A4 will affect your setup. (1) no factory amp, (2) partial amplification (rear speakers/subwoofers only), and (3) full amplification (all speakers are amplified). If you have amplified speakers, this radio does not support plug and play. If you install without a line level RCA converter you will not get any sound from the amplified speakers as the levels are too low. See troubleshooting below. FIX 1) No factory amp. This radio will be plug and play. A correction is not necessary. 2) partial gain (rear / sub). Front speaker wiring remains the same, rear speakers/subwoofers require a line-out to RCA level converter. Requires custom wiring to included wiring harness. 3) Full reinforcement. Front AND Rear/Subwoofer require line out to RCA level converter. Requires custom wiring to included wiring harness. You need to buy two converters (for front and rear) because each adapter only has 2 channels. I installed the following line out to RCA level converter which I bought from Revain for $9. (PAC SNI-35) Ref/ASIN B001EAWS3W. Thanks to this, the sound is now perfect. I set the adapter level to maximum and the fader is perfectly centered.
