When you buy premium flatware, you get premium quality. Heavy, shiny, gorgeous. I am a huge fan of the contemporary design. It works well for eating and is very easy to wash. The fact that it's 18/10 steel is a great thing. No acid etching, no dulling, nothing.In a rush, I washed some parts of the set in a dishwasher and they came out with tiny scratches. I'm not sure how that happened but they're still perfectly usable. It just bothers me that they're no longer perfect.Worth every penny.
