I really like this flatware - it has classic lines, so it fits well with both my casual and fine dinnerware. However, the curve of base of the flatware gives it a modern flair. If you are looking for flatware that fits with a "handsome room" style, this fits nicely. The weight of these pieces is good; the are also longer than my old set, which gives them an added elegance. The tiny stamp on the tines/bowl/blade is also a nice touch.

I was disappointed with these. The web page said there was heft, but I didn't think so when I got them. I put the tablespoon on the gram scale and compared it with another tablespoon from a place setting that cost the same, and the Spada was much lighter. Plus, it's hard to see on the picture, but that teaspoon belongs in a salt server.

5 years ago, I got a set of 12 for our wedding. After a few large dinner parties it was clear I needed settings for 16, and was happy to find the pattern available on Best Buy (Crate and Barrel used to carry it). Love my Doria silverware so much. I wish I would have ordered them years ago. They are sturdy, and exceptionally rich-looking. I feel they are easy to hold and worth every penny. They are beautiful and would probably hand wash to keep them pristine. They are great!

Nice heavy-weight stainless flatware that looks good on the table and feels good in your hand. If you have a dishwasher with a separate cutlery tray on the top, you may have challenges fitting the larger pieces into the slots.

These are beautiful, sturdy and substantial looking but unfortunately the butter knives have already shown some rust.

This spoon is much larger and heavier than I expected, but it is exactly what I was looking for! It is very sturdy for mixing thick cookie dough and a perfect size when used as a serving spoon. I'm glad I ordered two!

Really nice, heavy weight flatware that fits comfortably in the hand. Handle pattern wraps around. It's a modern look, but user-friendly. Holding up fine in the dishwasher after daily use for a month. Only quibble is that the teaspoon is rather small.

We love the style, and the weight and balance feel good in the hand. The large spoon is just the right size for soup, ice cream, cereal, or mac and cheese, and the smaller one is perfect for stirring morning coffee. We got the steak knives as well, and have been happy with them too.

I totally LOVE this silverware! I wanted something with a different look than what everyone else had plus a great quality that could be handed down to my children like my mother handed hers down to me. Now I want the serving pieces.

Very sleek design, but you need be aware it easily leaves water mark or hand marks on it. For example, when you take it out of dish washer, the moment you touch it, your hand marks will be on it from then on.

When you buy premium flatware, you get premium quality. Heavy, shiny, gorgeous. I am a huge fan of the contemporary design. It works well for eating and is very easy to wash. The fact that it's 18/10 steel is a great thing. No acid etching, no dulling, nothing.In a rush, I washed some parts of the set in a dishwasher and they came out with tiny scratches. I'm not sure how that happened but they're still perfectly usable. It just bothers me that they're no longer perfect.Worth every penny.
