5 stars because the RAV315 is perfect for my needs. It cannot be the same for others.
Remote control for my Yamaha RX-V1700 7.1 Surround Receiver - RAV360. After more than 10 years, the RAV360's remote volume control functions become slow or non-functional. All other functions work perfectly. If available, the RAV360 will cost $40 to $75 to replace. For $9.00, the RAV315 controls ON/OFF, VOLUME */-, component selection, and possibly other items I don't need. It's also smaller than the RAV360. $9 vs $75 is an easy decision.
- Power supply: 2x 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries (not included). User manual not included
