Excellent for the Price

I purchased this bicycle for my wife and she loves it. With the exception of the electric motor and disk brakes, it's a very basic bicycle that provides a comfortable ride. The electric hub motor gives it a nice boost for keeping up with faster and more athletic riders. I no longer have to wait on my wife who usually lags behind when we ride bikes together. Now, she passes me going up grades and laughs because I'm peddling my non-electric bike so aggressively to keep up with her. She is about 5'4" and with the seat and handlebars adjusted properly, it fits her perfectly. I'm sure it would be a good fit for shorter and taller riders as well just by making these common adjustments. We purchased a lovely basket, mirror, and cup holder for it. It comes with a great-sounding bell and an integrated headlight that is powered by the main battery. The control panel for the pedal assist is very straightforward and easy to understand. The included manual is well-written and is also easy to understand. I do recommend cleaning the disk on the brakes as soon as you get the bicycle assembled because ours made some squeaking noises at first. After cleaning the disk rotor with alcohol, most of those noises went away. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase, especially for the price point. I just recently ordered an electric conversion kit for my Specialized Roll bicycle so I can keep up with my wife riding her "Huffy".

  • High Price: The cost of the Huffy Everett Electric Comfort Bike may be prohibitive for some consumers, especially when compared to non-electric bikes of similar quality and functionality
