I got this pack of tape because I wanted the petri dishes to be colored for my pandemic board game. The petri dishes were destroyed, so now I have a lot of tape. I aired them out for a month and the smell is still there. I now use tape to hold the fabric together when sewing masks and they work well in that regard. 6 months later. The smell is still there when you take a roll of duct tape and smell it. There is no noticeable odor on the tape I used. I used the tape on a marking table and the tape lasted 2 months with no failure. I also used masking tape to mark small plastic bags and the tape came off there so I may have to wrap the tape all the way around. Overall I am still happy with the product.
