The pH unit changes about 1/2 day after a water change or adjustment, it returns to the yellow base point, physical tests show the true reading and leave it in place, a sudden change in point color can indicate a problem , not impressed at all. Ammonia appears to be accurate to the point that my physical tests don't refute what it says it will stay for the warning gauge. I have a pH in my main fresh water tank and will not replace it after use and the replacement point (included) has reached the end of its life. I have ammonia detectors in my freshwater sample tanks. I can replace them if I don't find they are not accurate.
