Review on Autel Maxisys MS906BT Connection Diagnostics by Phil Casey

Doesn't do anything as advertised. Developed for Chinese cars, not for the American market. Basically, there is no functional test. Doesn't even reset the oil change warning. Does not work as advertised on Mercedes. No guidance and difficult to negotiate. Many features do not work or are limited to the point of being unusable. Fast forward to the day. A year after purchase, they completely turned off the scanner until you pay a $1,299 annual subscription. I have an old recording that ended in 2014 and still works great, and I'm going to the scanner, not this paperweight. I also brought a $2850 CV model and it's even worse. Engine misrecognition, BCM function test failure on US trucks. Fewer features than a $50 code reader.
