Review on Libbey Selene 🎂 Glass Cake Stand with Cover by Craig Galante

Simple, clean, unobtrusive and beautiful. Attached are photos showing this product's relationship to 10" disc/pie crust and 9" pie pans with the lid off and on. The stand itself has a flat inner surface measuring 10 inches in diameter, then the remaining few 2-3(?) inches of the stand begins with a slight upward slope. So with MAX, a 10-inch cake can be placed on it without the risk of sagging. Center. with *probably* piping around the edges, but you can't attach a lid since the base of the lid is 10.5 inches. With the lid on, you can see a close-up of the 10-inch pie slice. Relationship relative to proximity to lid. The stacked cake pans I put in show how much space (around and on top) a 9 inch round 2 or 3 layer cake can fit. If you decide to cut 1 round cake in 2 layers, hopefully my photos can give you a general idea of how it would fit. As another reviewer said, the lid has some weight, but it's not heavy. The product appears to be as durable as any Libbey glassware I have purchased. Sturdy but not too heavy, clean lines and gains don't detract from the food I'm trying to present. I love using a lot of Libbey products for this very reason. So I suspect if you love Libbey products for the same reasons then you will be very happy with them.
