accidentally made the mistake of turning on the AC too quickly after changing the battery. You MUST restart the system for a few minutes before turning on an air conditioner, otherwise you'll need this part because you just made the original fail. I know it's stupid, thanks GM. Either way, it worked great on the driver's side of the 06 TrailBlazer. install is do-it-yourself for the average handyman. Once this is complete all temperature zones are now operational (again allow the system to reset/calibrate for a few minutes before activating the air buttons ANYTIME).
