Review on Monoprice VGA UTP Extender Audio by Cheryl Bailey

I hate being the only person who can't do this job. I only uploaded the instruction manual as an extra measure to make sure everything is connected properly before plugging in the AC adapters. I bought a 100 foot high end Cat 6 ethernet cable and connected the transmitter and receiver to my new 55" Dell HD boardroom monitor, which works great when connected directly to my laptop with a VGA cable . However, I see nothing. through this transceiver system, except that the cursor moves briefly several times. The screen is dark gray with a 1.5-inch black stripe at the bottom of the screen. So I decided to buy a six foot Ethernet cable and use that instead of a hundred foot cable. This time I didn't even see the cursor move. My tech savvy wife checked all the connections to verify what I was doing. It confirmed that I had connected everything correctly. I want to contact the seller and I go to the company's website and it says only in Chinese. Anyway, this seems to be just one page. There is an email address. I hope someone can read and write English. I know there are a few holes to adjust the gain and another setting, but I don't want to tweak anything because I don't want to make things worse. After contacting support I will update this review. In the meantime I can order a 25ft Cat 6 cable for further testing.
