Bought as an extra lock so I can attach the rear tire to the frame while I use a larger U-lock to attach the front wheel and frame to the bike. stand at work. It works (hardly) and the price is right. However, note that you are very limited in what fits in the U. I can barely mount a tire and one side of the chainstay. It does not fit the tire and seat tube. See photo. If you want or need something small, this works and feels very durable. I don't use the cable that came with the kit - the cables cut easily (one of the reasons I got a second U-lock for my new bike) and everything that was secured with the cable is gone. It has a pleasantly soft rubber coating that prevents scratches - the metal is not exposed when closed.
