Good heat treat, stays sharp for a long time with kitchen use.
I've been using this for some time now, primarily for chopping meat, and to that extent it is fantastic. As the coating is essentially and etch and not the standard powder coat of other ESEE knives it can stain food. Not an issue for general food prep but some people may questions why it happens.
