Bought a pair of these for 19.99. In this price range they are worth 3 stars. At their usual higher price I would give them less stars because they really aren't that good. It's a good concept, but not quite what they advertise. My guess is that if I plug one of them onto the bottom output and the other onto the top output just above, then yes, they'll get the "500Mbps" they advertise. In reality, I'm constantly getting 20-40 Mbit from one room to another. Less than 1/10 of the specified maximum speed is not worth mentioning. For the record, I don't have a very large house either, we're talking maybe 40 feet actual distance between outlets. I understand that several things are important, such as: B. the quality of the cable, how often the signal passes the panel. , yeah yeah yeah. I'm talking about a real use case. In almost all cases, you will pass through a panel while using it from one part of your home to another. So expect real speed in the real world. At my house from 1996 I get 20-40 Mbit/s. That being said, if 20-40Mbps (probably more in ideal conditions) suits your needs for what you're trying, they'll work just fine. If you need higher speed, you can look outside of powerline adapters.
