Brake detection function does not work reliably

I really wanted to like the light. After using it for several trips I had to return it. I feel like what makes this light different is the part of it that reacts to the brakes. Unfortunately, this function did not work reliably. It felt like I was slamming on the brakes, but it also felt like bumps were hitting and changing. In the end I would say the light was on constantly like I was braking 30% of my ride. This drained the battery and caused the person behind me to ignore the light that was on. Definitely worked better than the old mercury switch, but not reliable enough to use that feature. Otherwise I would say that the attachment of the bracket to the light could be better. Removing the light from the mount requires two hands, and I've had other lights (some from PDW) that I was able to easily detach with one hand.
