Tldr: I really liked this mop at first but it got used a lot and I couldn't stand it. In the long run, this is probably only suitable for light cleaning. We have 5 dogs, 2 little boys and even some extras like chickens and a pig or two in the house from time to time. Needless to say, the floors get dirty. This mop has been tested for dog hair, sap, clayey mud, sand, feces, urine and anything else you can think of. We mop a lot and I probably used it about 100 times before it became completely useless. The microfiber mop head held up well and picked up dirt well. I've only ever needed one and it probably would have taken a lot longer. The spin and brush mechanism works pretty well when removing dog hair, dirt and all kinds of spills from the mop head. Again, I rarely removed the head, despite the rather dirty floors. However, I have 3 main issues that make me give this low rating. 1. The handle is the most frustrating part of this mop and ultimately the handle was the last straw. The latch on the handle broke and now the handle will not hold in the extended position. He was struggling for the last 3 months before finally collapsing. Doesn't rotate, gets stuck in lowest position. Yes! 2. The filter does not filter out many types of spills. Almost everything is sticky and, in large enough quantities, requires multiple toppings of fresh water. Especially the dog urine. It also often clogs (thought of not unscrewing the filter when cleaning helps) 3. Various design flaws that make things a bit awkward. See below READ MANUFACTURER - Secure handle so it can lock into place. If I carry it to the toilet and the water runs too far to the side, the bucket will overflow (usually all over my leg). Probably because most of the water is higher up in the tank. - The handle is even longer, I still bend. Make the handle lock stronger! Make sure the spout doesn't go through the pen storage slot so I don't get my hands dirty between cycles. Please make a version with separate fresh and dirty water tanks. It seems fairly economical and compact, so a small increase to accommodate 2 gallons of fresh water and a recovery tank would be fantastic - remedying all of the quality flaws mentioned above.
