This is a MINI brush and dustpan set as the product name suggests. The base of the broom is 3.7 inches wide and the overall height of the broom from the hook on the handle to the end of the bristles is only 7.1 inches, which is also clearly stated in the product description. It is exactly what it says and is absolutely perfect for what I need it for. If I could give more than 5 stars I would gladly do that. I like to go barefoot in the summer, but I inevitably end up in mud and sand. Since my computer is my place to relax in the middle of the day, the space under my desk becomes my daily gathering point for all that sand. It's too small an area and too many nooks and crannies to clean effectively with a standard household broom or even one of the standard dusting brushes or brooms. Carrying a vacuum into my home office just to clean there every day is a real agony. I was delighted to see this mini broom and dustpan on Amazon and ordered them straight away. I can hang it next to my desk within easy reach and it only takes about a minute to sweep my desk, including the alcoves where my printer sits. I absolutely love this little broom and it has already made my life so much easier. To me, that's fantastic value.
