Review on ๐Ÿพ NAC&ZAC Waterproof Hammock Pet Seat Cover for Cars and SUVs with Seat Anchors, Non-slip, Extra Side Flaps, Machine Washable Barrier Dog Seat Cover by Daniel Bates

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Took me about 4 years

I bought this dog hammock in November 2014 for a large dog that would throw up a few blocks from my house if I didn't give him dramamine. This hammock kept vomit out of the leather seat below, which is a big plus since the first "waterproof" hammock I bought was supposed to be advertised as a screen door. Since this hammock protected my seat, I give it four stars. I have to say I never take my hammock out of my big SUV so maybe the UV rays are an issue but I really don't know. My SUV has high quality tinted windows so I don't think that should be a problem. Anyway, the first malfunction that I noticed was the seat belt buckle on the front seats. First, they're not spaced far enough apart for a full-fledged Chevrolet truck, so there's stress on the belts. Second, a strap broke when our dog got restless and put his foot on the front edge of the hammock between the two front seats. Another reviewer shows a photo of his dog doing this as if he could take the abuse, but he won't act. One of the front seat belt attachment points has come loose. My wife sewed it back together with fishing line, but the dog soon did the same, only this time the plastic buckle broke, leaving this hammock in a catastrophic defect and in need of replacement. I am looking to Revain to see if there is another dog hammock made with better quality straps made of waterproof material that is actually made for a large SUV.
