Review on 🍵 Whistling Tea Pot, 64-Ounce, Olive - Oggi by Kimmi Willett

This kettle is decent for its size and the capacity is as advertised. It works well on both my electric stove and induction cooktop and heats up at the times I expect from both. Unfortunately, mine doesn't whistle loudly - it just wheezes and spits. I need a loud whistle as I don't hear very well and am easily distracted. I know you can't fill the kettle to the spout and I was careful not to get the lid with the whistling spout wet - you still can't hear it from the next room and boiled for several minutes before it caught it - I gave it on every try. I chose this for the whistle function, so I'm deducting a star. On the plus side, the handle stays cool enough to pick up when the water is boiling, the spout lever works great and gets the job done. It looks very pretty and the anthracite color suits my decor. The top opening is large enough to see everything inside and is easy to clean and the lid closes securely. It's a decent kettle and others have said their kettle whistles loudly so maybe mine is unique. Oggi Whistling Teapot, 64 oz, Charcoal
