Review on 🔧 Aftermarket Replacement Carburetor for Kohler K161 K181 Engine by Sean Chambers

I bought this carburetor to replace the one on my 8hp Kohler TroyBilt Horse. The carburetor itself was a perfect fit, but I had to make a few modifications. One change: The choke that came with the new carburetor was interfering with my air cleaner housing. I removed the choke from my old carburetor and installed it in the new carburetor. The problem is solved. Change two: I had to 1/4" drill the throttle shaft in the bottom hole to accommodate the throttle lever bearing clip. The second problem is solved. I also had a problem attaching the air filter housing. There were only two screws screwed in, and the third screw broke while screwing it into the carburetor two screws is enough to hold the air cleaner housing for the money this was a great buy! all in all I probably spent an extra 15 minutes screwing up my carburetor modify. It works great!
