I didn't like that it started smoking while I was making cookie dough. I paused for a few minutes and then continued. After that the mixer stopped working. This was the first (and probably the last) time this mixer was used. I've made Wilton cookie dough many times with other mixers with no problems. I gave away my hand mixer when I moved and my food processor blades were lost when I moved. I made this cookie (serving 6) last month using a 40 year old blender. I liked the delicate storage aspect of this mixer, the perceived power of the motor, and the stainless steel whisks (although there's no mention of stainless steel on the packaging or inserts. I don't like that I have to make 120 cookies without a mixer today. I think I'll borrow one This blender wasn't "strong".
