Assembly takes much longer than stated. Unless you hand sand EVERY piece and wax liberally, it won't work at all. The good news is that the end product looks very good. The bad news is that when it works it runs VERY fast - not at all like a real pumping station. Despite all the care I've put into preparing and assembling it, the movement is snappy and clumsy because the gears just don't align very well. With this model, it would be better to use a handle instead of a rubber band for movement. The details of this model were much more difficult to assemble than the WoodTrick locomotive and much, much more difficult than the UGears stagecoach. Permissions just got lost. I liked the assembly but the end result was disappointing.
