very hot! suitable for reptiles and amphibians
So this lamp is much brighter and hotter than expected. I strongly recommend monitoring the temperature in your pet's habitat when using this lamp. The little fellows had (luckily) almost 120° in the tank in about an hour, oops! If I hadn't tested them it probably would have killed them as I'm a fairly new reptile owner and have never had this problem before so I would say this is a great product when handled properly but I had to Replace lamps immediately.
