Review on Apollo Valve Bronze Y Strainer Tapped by Mike Walters

I bought the 1/4" version and hooked it up to the dishwasher inlet line. My city water contains dirt that clogs the dishwasher inlet valve every year, costing $40 to replace. A extremely low water pressure makes a whole house water filter undesirable and I can easily clean this strainer without repeated expense. There are cheaper models but I wanted them to be lead free or rust free even though they are connected to the hot water circuit. The screen cover was made did not come with the connector which I bought separately from HD for about $1.
