I love these skirts and have both lengths but I think this is an inherent design flaw. Velcro on left thigh (facing out) are hooks. Velcro on the inside of the last flap is a loop. The problem is, if you're not quite the size they made for the Velcro, the hooks will snag the inside edge of your tank top or shirt. Because of this, I ruin several expensive swimsuits. If the hooks were on the inner flap and the loops were on the thigh, this wouldn't have happened. Skirts are designed to be adjustable, but if your size is even slightly above Velcro, you may have this problem. I increased the size and still have this problem.
