This is an essential tool that I've carried in my apron since I bought it. I've bought 6" and 12" squares and use this one most of the time. I am building closets for the first time. This angle has helped me with everything from ensuring my table saw blade is square and at the correct height to making repeatable marks on all types of wood. This eliminates a lot of guesswork, saving time and resulting in a better product. On the other hand, marks embossed on a ruler can be difficult to see from a distance and in low light.
