Review on Zilla Reptile Terrarium Bedding Substrate Reptiles & Amphibians : Terrarium Bedding, Sand & Substrate by Angeline Darpino

Clean, safe, simple, durable and cheap 🤘🏼💯

They shrink when washed with hot water. If it has coco coir in it, good luck getting rid of all the fibers from it one day, unless you painstakingly tear it off one fiber at a time. You usually need to hand wash it at least 2 times with Dawn soap and a brush to get rid of the smelly reptile droppings smell. After all, why is this better than anything! Paper towels and coconut/wood chip newspapers can be harmful. They will all become moldy and you will not be able to clean the wood chips. Mold often causes respiratory infections in reptiles which, if left untreated, are fatal. Even a collision can be deadly, especially for lizards. Lizards are easily affected and either become very ill or die. I feel so much better knowing that my snakes and my lizard Ellie are safe, and I know that Ellie will never pick up wood chips or mold in her tank again.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • A few little things
