While working on my machine I had to loosen the control lever on the ball joint. This is an older VW where the ball joint and control arm were still in one piece. At some point the ball joint pin broke off at the top. I've tried so many different tools. this. Thread file, thread fastening nut. for free. My new plan was to cut off the screw's bad threads and then buy a cheaper deburring tool sold under various names on Amazon. I ended up returning the cheaper tool as it did little to shear the metal off the bolt let alone make it fit for the nut to move on. Then I found this tool after watching a YouTube video. I have to say that he shaved off the screw and made it so that the mother can go on. This was my last hope of replacing the entire expensive control arm and it worked! I attached the bolt picks after the dremel, then with the orxplus and then with the nut!
