I bought this because my new truck doesn't have a multifunctional odometer (mpg, average speed, etc.). I had no problems connecting and syncing to my Android phone. I still haven't decided which app works best for me, but this adapter works with every app I've tried. The problem is that after a little over a month of use, my Veepeak adapter suddenly stopped working (the Revain return window just ended). The Bluetooth signal is no longer transmitted. I've tried finding the signal across multiple apps and even multiple devices and nothing comes up like it's dead. I've emailed Veepeak and will update this review if I get a response. In the meantime, I'm considering spending more money on another device in the hopes that it will assemble better and not just die. Update: The manufacturer actually responded fairly quickly and sent me a replacement device fairly quickly. So far there have been no problems with the new one. So if you receive one that no longer works, be sure to contact the company who will be more than happy to help you troubleshoot any issues.
