The hook itself is what I was looking for, a solid trailer chain hook designed for one handed operation with a spring retainer that won't break after 3 uses like most. And you can't complain about the cost. Reason for 4 stars: They put an annoying sticker right on the hook. I had to use a heat gun and glue remover to clean it so it didn't attract dirt and stain my hand. A number of reviews discuss how to keep it from slipping off the chain as it doesn't have a clasp. If you use a heavy duty 3/8 karabiner like the Curt 82930, it won't slip off the karabiner and you don't have to damage the metal by heat, bending, etc. and then be able to remove or move it. without cutting it off.
