Broken/Missing Threads

I unpacked the 18" cooler today and was immediately impressed with the overall quality of the welds and material used. However, I am seriously concerned about the inlet and outlet threads. I can clearly see that a number of threads are missing in the middle of the thread. I hope this isn't a leak, but if it is I'll probably return it.
