Review on ๐ŸฆŽ Aiicioo Reptile Heating Pad - 7W Terrarium Heating Pad with Temperature Thermometer: Electric Heated Warmer for Reptile Tanks by Karen Padilla

Not bad for the price range

Not bad considering it was the only heating pad I could find in this price range with a built in temperature control. However, a few things should be noted. It has no sticky pads to stick it to the walls, bottom of the aquarium, etc. You will either need to buy your own heat resistant sticky pads or if you are like me just place them under the bottom of the aquarium tank.2. There are literally zero instructions. All of this is just a laminated flat pad and wire cable in a plastic bag. However, it is easy enough to understand. Switch on, dial the number - and on to the races.3. The temperature controller does not show actual temperatures. That's fine as each choice means your temperature is adjustable, but the downside is you have no idea what temperature you're setting it to. That meant I stood there for a while waiting for this thing to heat up, with a food thermometer stuck into the substrate to experiment with how hot this thing might get. It's not going crazy. I think the highest temperature I've measured by turning the dial all the way down and my food thermometer sitting right on my pillow is around 85 degrees. So if you have a reptile or something that requires a temperature above 90 degrees, this may not work for you. I have a Pacman frog and it is recommended that the temperature stays below 85 degrees so this has worked really well for me. Although I've only had mine for about 24 hours, I'll update my review if it suddenly breaks. Bonus photo of my frog buried up to his eyes in mud right on top of this heating pad.
