Worked great for my Achilles leopard gecko, I covered him in the tank with tape and put a reptile blanket over it and it kept the warm skin nice and warm. I recommend a rheostat to control the temperature range and a thermometer to see the heat in a digital reading.

This is the perfect size to fit under the IsoViva isopod's body. Other reviewers have (rightly) mentioned the lack of visual feedback on the temperature dial, but I fixed it with a dab of white paint. I actually use this to heat my 6 gallon betta tank instead of my reptile tank and other than having to glue it to the bottom it's really great. I like that I can control the temperature and water heaters with this feature are too big for my aquarium. I have to remember to turn the temperature down after waking up and turn it back on in the evening, but that's more of a problem as I live somewhere hot somewhere 3/4 of the year than the product! Well it works. This appears to help our Dubia colony reproduce. I was under the impression that it would be more adjustable I guess. I guess I can't say I'm not satisfied, but it's not what I imagined, so it is what it is. It works and doesn't cook insects.
