5 stars for 26x1.75 20mm2 Stars for 27x1 1/4 12mm I bought the 26x1.75 20mm wide in February of this year and installed both without problems. I recently bought a 12mm wide 27 x 1 1/4 and one of these broke in the valve hole during installation. I only needed one, so at least I had the other one as a backup. The problem with the 12mm 27 is that there isn't much rubber between the valve hole and the side of the strip so it will brake with some pressure, which is what happens when you try to push the tube valve through the hole in the strip , after you install the strip on the rim. At 27, I recommend pulling the tape off the rim before inserting the tube valve, or even inserting the tube valve through the valve hole on the strip before mounting the strip onto the rim.
