Matches the unusual rims of this mountain bike perfectly. They have been difficult to find and this product appears to be of excellent quality. The flat tire was caused by faulty rim tape causing the spoke pivot to cut the tube. I don't think it will happen with these.

These wheels fitted my wheels well and easily. The band is glued where the stem goes through the wheel, so the entire band will stay in place when you stretch it a bit to tighten it. I've had a few punctures on the rim side, probably from jumping over ruts and potholes. These rim tapes look and feel thick enough to solve the problem.

I bought this product to wrap around my thin handlebars so my reflector and bike light fit snugly. After wrapping my horizontal bar, I wrapped tape around this strip of rubber just once. This is a clean, tidy solution. Much better than the inserts that come with bike lights. I would buy again.

These are rim tapes and they work. If you are ordering the 12mm wide version (size 27 x 1-1/8) be very careful aligning the strip with the valve hole as there are only very thin strips of rubber on either side of the valve hole which is a common point of the failure. Be careful not to hit this thin area when inserting the inner tube valve as the threads of the valve can easily hit the rubber and tear it.

My old rim bars for 700 x 32C rims on my old Beater bike were getting so old and brittle that they both broke in the stem hole (I found a problem while repairing the plate). I ordered a replacement 27 1/8 x 12mm and they fit perfectly. The rubber was flexible and durable and the seam was wide and well sealed. I hope they last a few years with no problems.

These would be even better if they were 2mm wider. However, with conventional rim designs, the strip can be pushed aside during tire installation, which can lead to premature tube rupture. But when you have wheels with a really tight bore, especially when the spoke heads are in the groove, these are champions.
