I've tried posture correctors before and while they work, they can be pretty uncomfortable. This is one is more comfortable in a lot of ways, except maybe the most important - under the arms. To pull your shoulders back, you have to pull the straps hard around the rib cage, but that causes the shoulder strap to cut under the arms. I think if I can wear it over a t-shirt, it might be more comfortable. I'm a plus-size girl and the XL fit as well as can be expected.Update: I wore mine for several hours today over a t-shirt. It helped my upper back pain a lot, and the t-shirt helped eliminate the cutting under the arm pit. Recommended.
