As well as all the other great automotive uses for this long wrench already listed by other reviewers, this tool is excellent for the 18mm bolts that hold the brake caliper bracket to the rear of an Audi (allroad in my case but many models are similar). When I received this wrench I was actually concerned that it was too long to roll well on the bike, but as it turned out I had plenty of room. However, the ratchet end is too thick to slide over the bottom bolts (and those bolts are difficult to access with a socket and ratchet - although perhaps not with a low-profile socket and ratchet), so plan on just using the box end for that spot use . Why is the key so long? torque baby! A standard length box wrench requires tremendous force (up to several hammer blows) to crack these special screws. With this long wrench, you still need good strong pulling power, but not extraordinary effort. And more importantly, assembly is a breeze as I will never stick a torque wrench in that tight spot and use hammer blows to tighten a poorly formed bolt. No, instead just tighten it as tight as you can with that monstrously long wrench and I'm pretty sure it's as tight as when I loosened it. Nice polished finish and actually uncomfortably thin for its length. You have a nice collection too.
