My truck's starter failed so I pulled out an old 230,000 mile original to replace or rebuild. The electronics store charged $50 to $80 for the rebuild, the parts store charged $120 for the rebuild and $180 for a rebuild. I have used DB Electrical in the past and decided to buy another one. The starter arrived and it took about 10 minutes to install. The build quality was excellent and the starter fitted perfectly. With everything rezipped, the truck fired faster and harder than ever. SPECIAL NOTE: This is specifically a 1995 Ford F-150 truck with a 300cc six-cylinder engine and a manual transmission. The description doesn't list a six-cylinder, but that's the one you want.
