Review on SKS Germany Shockblade Fender 29 Black by Matt Charlton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Original 29 " front fender

If you're a combination road bike and light trail bike like me, this is your only option. It's not for mountain biking and jumping suitable as your feet will hit the fender on sharp turns this is my third make sure you don't fall as the fender will drag to the ground and break and most of the time it's the fender that engages, not the part under the head tube, which can be replaced. It's easier to remove than a Topeak front fender if needed. In the back I have a big Topeak that fits under a Bontrager trunk and is over 2" x28 Marathon GT Tour Schwalbe. I can do the big one Don't rotate SVS rear fenders with huge mounting bolts rubbing against the tire on each side Manufacturers should do this These rear fenders are practical anyway ch for the trunk, that's the only way they stay straight.

Pros
  • Tension cone fits into steerer tube and fender rail detaches from cone/hardware
Cons
  • Some bugs
