Great product: Sports

Excellent product. The installation only took a few minutes. I bought a front fender to keep mud, spikes, and small rocks off my feet and face while riding the Arizona desert trails. This is very effective and completely eliminates this problem. It has a very secure fit and can be easily removed at any time. Very light but durable. I can buy a rear fender to complete the kit, but the bike rack over the rear wheel does a good job of keeping dirt and small rocks off my feet.

Pros
  • Recommended tire width - up to 3 inches
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Ideal for brake caliper breakage.

I don't have much experience with this on rough terrain, mostly dirt/flat trails so not sure if it "claps" too much when going downhill. I don't think this will be a problem but it is very easy to put on and take off so can be taken off in dry conditions. I wear contact lenses and dirt in my eyes has been a constant problem. I also have an old hardtail with broken brake calipers and need a fender that mounts directly under the top tube. Very effective and completely eliminates dirt in the eyes.

Pros
  • Dual compound plastic for durability
Cons
  • High price

Original 29 " front fender

If you're a combination road bike and light trail bike like me, this is your only option. It's not for mountain biking and jumping suitable as your feet will hit the fender on sharp turns this is my third make sure you don't fall as the fender will drag to the ground and break and most of the time it's the fender that engages, not the part under the head tube, which can be replaced. It's easier to remove than a Topeak front fender if needed. In the back I have a big Topeak that fits under a…

Pros
  • Tension cone fits into steerer tube and fender rail detaches from cone/hardware
Cons
  • Some bugs

Ideal if you never ride anything hard

The fender attaches to the bike with a tiny lip. The first day I rode it, the first line of the jump, I doubled and lost the line to the side of the track I didn't want to fall on, so I slammed on the brakes hard and the bike lying on your side and not driving down the steep slope in an uncontrolled manner. The wing hit the trail in a fairly controlled fall. Dominated me so much that the only thing that fell to the ground on my body was my stupid and outstretched hand. Fender fell off. looked…

Pros
  • Compatible with 26" and 27.5" wheels
Cons
  • Wrinkled fender
