Purchased for use with the Mighty Mule Automatic Gate Opener. I connected it to the MM board according to the installation instructions. After a while I noticed that the battery was not charging. The LED was blinking green when it should have been blinking red, and I assumed something was wrong. I emailed Sunerpower regarding warranty service on a Sunday evening without waiting several days for a response. I was pleasantly surprised to get a response within an hour! A guy named Mason suggested I connect their panel directly to the battery terminals and bypass the MM board. .It worked! The LED will now flash red to indicate successful charging. Apparently, the combined protection of both devices did not allow the panel to detect the battery. I was very impressed with the quick response and resolution of my issue. Thanks mason!
