Very sharp. Serrated edge. The brass retention ring just pops right off.
I like this because it is quite sharp out of the box, and with some stropping is very usable. The blade edge does have somewhat of a serration to it, which I hope I can strop to be completely smooth over time. There's a brass ring that I think is supposed to reinforce the handle to the blade, which was not secured at all. I'll try and epoxy it on.
- Well made and cuts great, very sharp.
- The round head may make it difficult to cut straight lines or detailed designs
