I can't believe how much I love this thing! First, the optics really exceed my expectations. The color is almost uniform and looks natural. The feel is slightly rough and woody. And the smell! Smells of wood before, during and after printing. I didn't think the smell would bother me, but at the moment my workplace smells pleasantly of wood; After using ABS, PETG and PLA for so long, it's kind of a pleasure. Ok, but does it work well? Yes! Adhesion to the bed is similar to PLA until none peels off (using Kapton and glue). Warpage/shrinkage is present but low enough to be ignored for aesthetic prints. The adhesion of the layers is excellent, the wood fibers hold together very well even at low temperatures (e.g. 210°C). Drops appear at the nozzles; Most can be removed with your fingers, while the rest can be removed instantly with a scraper. But the best part is the ability to overlap and overhang. Print what you want and don't worry about coasters! The wood fibers appear to 'eat' even before the PLA freezes, causing this material to happily come out of the nozzle and just stop where it is. See the attached photo for a print example; It prints without any support in the orientation shown in the photo without any problems. The upper part is flat and smooth, its thickness is only about 2.5mm. And, oh yes, the other best part is the post-processing! Grab your favorite file and head outside (because it's biodegradable) and you'll feel like a magician. This material isn't too hard (so it can be filed easily), but is very adhesive to itself (similar to ABS, but slightly better). This allows you to quickly create surfaces that feel like smooth, sanded wood. And you won't get ABS powder in your nose. I haven't been able to "roast" the filament to darken the color, but some crude experimentation with a lighter shows it's possible (albeit difficult). Buy this stuff now. ; but not too much. Because I want it.
