I have a 2010 Scion XB that I bought used and it didn't come with a key fob. I never bothered to buy it because the dealer would ask almost $200. Turns out you can just buy this thing for $20 and program it yourself! I was skeptical that this would work, but I found a (surprisingly detailed) guide online and was able to program it myself without too much trouble. It took a few tries (user error of course) but I managed to do it in about 10 minutes. The only thing is that Home Depot and the like don't usually make copies of the foreign keys you bring with you. Luckily the nice lady I asked just did it for me for free but when I got to my car it didn't help. that does not work! But that's not because of this product and now I only carry this key fob and another car key on my keychain. Overall I am very happy with this product - I saved a lot of money!
