Review on Logitech G G920 Driving Force Kit Black by Kiril Dimitrov ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The item is average, not sure if it's worth the money.

Momo racing had been going on for a long time before to that. There are only three points of contact, and the power and pedal wires may be readily detached thanks to their rear-mounted jacks. However, it's loud and has a limited turning radius. Since the fans are costly and I'm still unsure of how much this interests me, and since I didn't want to settle for the G920's inferior build quality, I opted to upgrade to a crunchmaster instead. Everything works fine, however when I first turned the wheel to the left, it squeaked, and when I turned it to the right, it cracked. Super easy to understand. As a result, I sent it back and got another G920 in exchange. A knock can be heard if the steering wheel is turned to the right when the motors exert effort (but there is no auto return) and then stopped suddenly with a tiny return. This problem does not exist at this location. Also, the motor gear and the steering gear have taken a hit. Without a manual transmission, you can take this steering wheel and use it; it's not awful. I bought mine for $17,000, so I can speak to that. But for over $23,000, this is just rubbish. Make a belt drive and charge 30 grand for it, Logitech. But how much further can the production of these gears go? Unfortunately, not all rudders for sale are equally effective. The situation is what it is. Yes, by the way, rubber pads must be placed between the clamp and the table to prevent the steering wheel from driving. Why couldn't a rubberized clamping mechanism have been used, or even a rubber one attached to the very bottom of the legs? But I have a feeling that I'll end up getting the bare minimum when it comes to fanatical elites in a two-pedal package. Similar to "45," but with actual delivery. However, spending caps will be lowered after the year 2020. so. The disadvantages of the gear system include an antiquated steering wheel design, a low-quality bar, poor cable management, a lack of soundproofing, and only two attachment points made of smooth plastic. Don't believe anyone who assures you that the steering wheel is completely silent; noises from other parts of the vehicle's operation are practically certain. Over the price of 20, a maximum is suggested, and so on. no longer.

Pros
  • Up to $20,000, we have no direct price competitors. Everything is fine, as a rule. The leather steering wheel has good ergonomics, and the pedals are responsive and quiet. The pedal block stays put on the laminate and never slips. There isn't enough room for me to write in the negatives, so here I am. The brake pedal is really difficult to press. If you consider something to be the norm or a desirable trait. Neither is it a normal feature. Take off the pedal block's lid, detach the pedal's support mechanism, and pull off the obnoxious rubber gasket from above the spring's location; problems solved. Which further implies that this is the case for cockpits, where professional racers frequently gripe about having to settle for softer brakes. You can never get a good stop with this rubber band if the block is on the ground. You can either lean back in your chair or push forward. Eliminate it. The pedals in your cockpits, however, are securely fastened to the chassis, so you can apply this brake with reckless abandon. Unfortunately, Logitech messed up again, and the pedal block must be taken apart. Do not worry about voiding your guarantee because of any scratches, bright traces of screws, or the absence of warranty stickers. Take this hat out of its case. And even then, the brake pedal will be the most stiff because its spring is the stiffest of all.
Cons
  • The Logitech is functioning normally. - gear. When, oh when, will belt drives be available? Despite the fact that it can cost up to €250, I'm in agreement. It's insane to spend money on that wheel up there. Putting two belts on these two motors is not a problem technically, but the logitech doesn't need it. It creeps around the table and doesn't stay put by default. Only two clamping locations are available. Because of the gears, driving is a breeze; all you have to do is tap the wheel lightly and relax. - a terrible method of cable organization. This layout is intended solely for racks, so you can set it and forget it. It would be a waste of time and effort to constantly clear the table of such filth. After momo racing, where all the outputs were from the end, it was easy to turn off the pedals and the power, but now and now all this is shoved through one place on the bottom, making it extremely inconvenient to poke every time and requiring you to carry the entire structure entirely from the table and back. - following in the old Logitech tradition, the cable of the pedal block protrudes absurdly at the base of the unit. After some time, your braided wires will likely break. So that it doesn't rub from below, why can't it be reinforced there, or allowed to come out higher? Overall poor quality of the logitech, see comment. - It requires individual configuration for each game, as its default function is a random star. Logitech's classics include a metal wheel and paddles with a plastic center. Although there is metal present, numerous users have reported cracking the casing where the motor plate is screwed in. Do not pay more than $18,000 for this wheel, people. The term "gray market" is foreign to Logitech. Same package, same manufacturer's warranty whether you pay $17 or $23. It is crucial that the sticker on the box is see-through. It can't be scrubbed clean without leaving behind traces. - After 15 years since Momo Racing (and Momo was actually the best for its time), Logitech is just re-releasing garbage in my opinion. Sure, things are better now, but, seriously, guys, these upgrades are absurd.
