Review on EZRED 0.75-inch Drive Extendable Ratchet featuring Reinforced Steel Telescoping Locking Shaft by Genene Locson

A big, strong wrench. I bought it to use with tricky screws in places where I can't easily install an impact wrench in my project. I highly doubt most people will be able to break this thing. However, EZ Red appears to be selling gear repair kits when that happens. I should point out that after reading some reviews, some buyers have complained about the screws becoming loose and lost. So I decided to give it a try and in fact they were loose enough to be removed with just the force of a finger (with the right attachment). I thought hell I might as well look inside this thing - and I did. I was surprised to find no grease in the key. I have no idea why the company doesn't add them. From what I understand the grease in the wrench helps keep these things in good working order. So I removed the gearbox, coated it with bearing grease and reinstalled it. Then I put the screws back in, with a nice blue finish. Result? The key is now smooth and quiet and I'm not afraid of losing screws. I recommend everyone who buys this to take the same steps. If you do, chances are it will stay with you for life. I'm deducting 1 star because I had to do it myself.
