Did not fit my 9ft umbrella
The opening is not large enough for my 9ft umbrella. I didn't measure the pole to the umbrella and just took a chance. Waisted 13 bucks. So I can't speak to the sturdiness and ease of use. I will get a 7 ft umbrella because it is metal and does appear that it will be useful and work fine if it fits. I bought it because I have extra 9 ft umbrellas sitting around the garage and planned to use them over my flower beds in a west facing garden while we try to get through these triple digit days. Yep, I know I can use a shade cloth, but I already had the umbrellas.
