Worked on my 1996 Caprice Classic. There was a 1/2 inch protrusion left on my window rivets. Had to use an air grinder and a pointed wheel to grind a flush. Then the knurled end of my rail was VERY difficult to open and had to open about 1.5 inches to get the new slider in. I just left it open as I couldn't crimp it again. The fronts are very difficult to use a 3" clamp to push in, even with a little lube to help. Had to use both hands to simultaneously lock AND rotate the clip with the access hole at the top of the door. THIS IS NO FUN JOB.
