I am not sure if I will get this product.

Okay, first let's think about why you need a garage floor mat. Water, snow and mud are inevitable in winter, but a floor scraper is great for shoving those liquids into your driveway. Oil and coolant remain. Why exactly should I use a CARPET to collect oil and coolant? felt carpet? You know that thing that lines your trunk? This is what it is but with a rubber lining underneath. It's quite heavy and stays in place when put down, but just like your suitcase, you'll never get an oil stain from this stuff! I have a few vintage cars and I take them to and from the garage all the time. Unfortunately, some drip some oil or brake fluid. Putting this rubber-backed FELT under a car to protect it from oil or brake fluid leaks is probably the dumbest thing I can put there, looking back. I put it on the garage floor, looked at it for a minute and immediately picked it up off the floor with a huge no! I'm going to save this stuff and try to make new trunk linings for one of my cars instead. For the floor, I decided to use a $12 washable 4x8 plastic wall panel from Home Depot under my cars. Unlike this product, you can wipe up liquids or take them outside and rinse completely. And for the price I paid for that FELT liner, I can buy TEN of those plastic sheets. Sorry but not recommended.
