I've heard that you can use alcohol ink on metal jewelry but was disappointed with the Results, even when I used a white acrylic primer that I've seen recommended, they work much better for this purpose as they are opaque and you don't need to glaze them, the colors are beautiful and the applicators are great - I use them sometimes even for applying the colors directly to embellishments (not with a brush).The downside is that they dry VERY quickly.This, while often a selling point, is less likely to ruin your work - but if you press it onto a sheet, it will they are best used immediately.The benefit is that a little color goes a long way.
